For building a sceleton and the teeth you need more. You need calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium and vitamin C and D3 and you need it in the right combination and composition. And you need hormone like iodine. You also need daylight on your skin every day for building vitamin D3 in your body. Don't eat calcium in combination with iron, that will not work. Wait for eating something with iron two or three hours after having eaten something with calcium. The best is tofu or other soya-beans products. If you like cheese - don't use soft cheese (too much phosphorus) - eat your hard cheese with fruits like oranges and lemmons. Green kale has a lot of calcium too. Calcium is also important for the connective tissue that holds  the teeth and the sceleton and the muscles and the veins and arteries and our derm and mucous membranes. Vegetables and fruits are the natural food for our spezies.  They are rich on celluloses and that is important for the movements of our intestines cause the cellulose massage the intestines for a good digestion. Drink water, herbal teas, green tea and shakes with oranges and natural yoghurt or soya milk. Yoghurt is very good if you can have it with clockwise lactic for the flora of our intestines. Take care! Alcohol and sweets are poison for the intestines and destroy the normal flora. You get a unhealthy candida albicans colonization (mucus) in your instetines and that is the cause for losing calcium and for allergies, osteoporosis, too much uric acid and diabetes mellitus. If you can eat seaweeds for the iodine you need and use salt from the Himalaya. Use natural sugar and whole-meal products. And take care so with my easy tip: don't use white and green with red (white for milk, cheese, yoghurt and green vegetables - red for red or blue fruits and meat = iron) - eat white, green and orange or yellow together. So forget a snack with cheese and red grapes. I find out that hard cheese and apples taste fine together and with almonds or walnuts is delicious or cheese with peaches and that it tastes very fine with pineapple - I think I mustn't tell. Oranges are absolutely neccessary if you have parodontitis because the cellulose of the fruit meat is very rich on specific bioflavonoids to build a cell wall. And I think this will be good for every cell wall in our body. This all together helps also to be more protected against every sort of cancer. Oh, and you need vitamin E and selenium for all this too - this catches the free radicals. I am happy that this has been a theme here on peta and hope that my knownledge will help to understand too. Our whales need the crabs and all other shellfishs (shell=calcium) so much more for their sceletons as we. And they aren't so flexible without having cars to transport their needful things.
